Our Intergrated Manufacturing for Superior Quality

Our integrated manufacturing approach starts from basic raw materials such as soybean, corn, wheat etc which are then processed into finished products in multiple steps in a vertically and horizontally integrated manufacturing programme. In this way, we are able to have better control over the quality of our products. We source good quality raw materials from reputable suppliers and we ensure optimum processing in order to preserve the product quality. Quality is monitored on-line during processing with state of the art technology to ensure product quality conformance.

Our main laboratory, SS Laboratories Services Sdn Bhd, which is accredited to ISO 17025 standards has sophisticated equipment such as HPLC, GCMS, Nitrogen Combustion Analyzer and Particle Size Analyzer to enable quality assurance through precise, accurate and instantaneous quality results. Regular cross calibration exercises are also carried out with reputable laboratories such as Fapas (UK), Eurofin Germany, SGS Germany, ILS (UK) etc.

We have test baking and food processing equipment to conduct end product evaluation in order to ensure our food ingredients perform in accordance to customers’ expectations.

We also have contract farming contracts and special (Identity -Preserved) (IP) programmes to cater for customers who require full traceability from fork to farm.

Holistic Approach towards Food Safety

For more than three decades, Soon Soon Group has committed to producing safe, healthy and high quality food and feed ingredients in accordance to FSSC 22000, HACCP, Halal and Kosher standards. We are one of the very few food ingredient manufacturers that conduct in-house screening of food borne hazards. In order to meet the stringent safety requirements of our customers, we embrace a holistic approach by building-in food safety into our whole supply chain. This approach starts with the procurement of raw materials from pre-qualified reputable suppliers.

Our raw materials are first screened for food borne hazards before they are processed and packed in our FSSC 2200 and HACCP certified production facilities. The screening of pesticides residues, mycotoxins, pathogens and food contaminants such as 3-MCPD and glycidyl esters are conducted in our main laboratory which is accredited to ISO 17025 standards to ensure conformance to the highest standards.
